The body of work was started as a reflection of the overwhelming emotions that I felt about the crisis in Ukraine. Many images and sad news have accumulated in my mind and I was struggling to breathe. The process of making the drawings helped me to find a way to think about the people, and to send a prayer for the repose of their souls. (Saori Parry, 2022)
